Application Procedure for Opening a Personal Banking Account

Opening a personal account with us is easy! Simply visit any BEA branch with the following documents:
	Proof of identity - valid passport
	Proof of address - please provide the original of one of the following that must not be more than 3 months old:
		current household bill - gas, electricity, telephone, water, or council tax
		valid full UK driving licence
		current bank statement or credit card statement
	If you are opening a Current Account, we may require a bank reference and / or your current account statements with other banks or building societies for the past 6 months.
	If you are applying for a joint account, please be sure to bring the personal identification document, proof of address, and the bank reference / past 6 months’ current account statements (if applicable) of each applicant.
